Saab 9-3 6 CD Changer part no 12787146

Has anyone here got any links with anyone who sells Saab parts at all?

I think, subject to some confirmation from the dealer, that my wife has defected to another Saab 9-3 after being disheartened with modern Benzes and she doesn't want to drive the 300.

We signed on the dotted line yesterday for a Silver Saab 9-3 1.9 Tid with full parchment leather (as we had exactly 2 years ago).

Thing is that the Stealer is trying to take £349 off me for a cd changer part number 12787146.

Can anyone help out with one of these at all for a more economical rate? (i'll pay obviously!)

I found one in the US for $250 (£125) but he wont ship to the uk.

You will still have to get the dealer to code it to the rest of the car electrics. Maybe that's included in the price he quoted to you ?? You need to clarify that. Incorporating ICE into car electronics has opened up a whole new "revenue generation opportunity" for franchised dealers.

Its ok Folks. I have managed to talk him out of it. Saab for Gods sake. Next he will be trying Ford

I asked the dealer about the re-programming and he said it was "plug 'n play."
