Seat backrest not locked

I have a 2003 CL and until letting some one into the rear seat last night all was well.

Now I have an error message telling me the backrest isn't locked on the left seat.

It's locked just fine, but I can't cancel the message

Any ideas please?

Mine does this sometimes. I have to give the seat a spirited 'pat' at the top near the outside corner of the backrest and its sorted.

Patted and tapped and banged and thumped and rocked and rolled

No joy

Now locking mechanism is actually playing up - maybe the car is smarter than me!?
