SEC Photoshoot pics

Stunning car, something I'd like in a few years.

Re the wheels, I would leave them alone and not go body colour. That will be way too much blue and kill the look. That's only my humble opinion though :)

im undecided... after seeing talbir's all colour coded im now of the opinion it makes the car look dated...

I think it works for dark metallic colours.. works on KLP's car, not sure it would on mine...

color coding wheels will make it look period (some call it dated) - that's what the like of AMG / Brabus / Carat did with the 80's MBs.

If you do color code centres then you are diverging to a period look - in which case other things on the car need to be consistent with that...such as orange turn signals not clear, AMG or Brabus period exhaust tips, not quad pipe aftermarket.

So it all depends on whether you want the car to look modern or period correct - no right or wrong, it's the owners desire and choice.

Thanks mate...

wasnt putting your fantastic cars down in any way.. but as you say i have chosen the modern look with leather, lights, exhaust etc and so colour coding wont really work...

Love the photo that was taken straight on from the front - that's what I call road presence . Bet you don't have any problems on the motorway - people must scatter when they see that looming up in the rear view mirror..

Cheers,

thanks gucci

hmm not sure how to check resolution but file size is about 2.5mb so cant be that bad...

If you cant get the bigger files then let me have the originals and I can resize them using pro photo software.
If you prefer to do it yourself then use software such as "Genuine Fractals" or similar.

Pro Photo labs can do this for you (at a cost obviously) and they may be best placed to get the best final results.

For a test print try these guys - I haven't yet used them but they have had some good feedback and at under £30 for an 30"x40" hand finished print its probably worth the risk :) (check on upscaling costs)

I can pro print to 18"x12" on Fuji Crystal paper from your existing files no problem for very little cost too - and I owe you a favour or 2 :)

Where is say what would you choose,, the XJS is plagued with lousy switches and wiring, also window motors,, and I have repaired so many of the door locks. rust takes a firm hold over the headlamps and rear end, with corrosion under the stainless trim. The scuttle shake on rough roads, Pretty when new but in no contention against the MB

yes but im having to get these through the writer... who apparently doesnt have cd burning facilities on his computer...

I'm sure he has more photos too but this is all he sent..

He really doesn't have CD burning facilities on his computer!
