How do you get your car to be used in a magazine photo shoot? Do you simply contact the editor of a magazine and email pictures of your car - obviously they don't want rust buckets (which mine isn't).
Do you get paid much for doing photo shoots? Is it worth it? Do they clean the car for the shoot of do you have to do it?

You'd be very unlikely to get paid for a run of the mill car IMHO. You may receive expenses paid, ie fuel for your journey to the venue.
Normally you'd clean the car yourself.
I wouldn't look at such an event as a money making opportunity, to be honest.
