Service life of coil packs / HT leads?

Just wondering how long, on average, coil packs and HT leads last?

Any idea how much a non-OEM set of leads costs for the V8?

I'm not even sure you can buy non-oem jumper leads - IIRC they're £25 each from MB - there are 16 of them. Coil packs should last well over 100k miles. You don't want to know how much they are to replace

I had a set made up by Magnecor £198.00 www.magnecor.co.uk , have not had them fitted yet. I priced a set of oem leads £327.30 + vat
