SL55 interior noisy?

Not my car but a friends, trying to make calls on an after market hands-free kit half the time you can hear anything or have to shout. My question is - are the SL55's really that noisy and will a better kit be any better at noise cancellation? You seem to hear a lot of traffic/background noise - not the monster engine

I'm waiting to find out what kit is installed (probably parrot)

Anyone got a system working perfectly in an SL??

IMO its much more likely to be the kit, either its crap or not installed/set up correctly. Parrot kits work fine even in a two bob fiesta so should be no issues in an SL.....Unless you got the roof down

Ok yes that's what I initially thought but just wanted to be sure..and yes it is with the roof up
