SL600 (129) Production numbers

Having owned my 1994 SL600 for nearly a year now and not having seen another one on the road I'm curious as to how many were actually made in RHD form in particular and in total generally. (I have seen one or two come up for sale but not very often)

Does anyone know where I can find out the total production numbers for the entire world and the UK market?

11089 total production of the 600 out of 204940 for the whole R129 range:

1991 3
1992 2107
1993 2066
1994 1526
1995 1112
1996 1249
1997 1164
1998 821
1999 557
2000 286
2001 198

Not sure where that came from, but it is in a well presented table that looks authoritative and the grand total is consistent with what I have seen elsewhere. No info about the UK share of that.

Left it a bit long to reply know, I reckon those numbers are correct and if you take into account how many have been written off (20%?) That leaves under 10,000 and a rare-ish car when you look at it on a global scale. gav

You are correct, but sometimes you can separate by looking at when they "increase in reg's" etc etc
