Hi, having recently bought an SLK, like it but have 3 issues, so thought I would put them in separate threads.
I thought I would check the front pads. They have a few K left on them but decided to change before the bad weather. Should be simple but!!! The calliper is of the pin type, so drift the pins out. NO CHANCE. I am missing something or is brute force required? I assume drift from outside of calliper (as there is a small hole to do so (appears unusual in my experience, as normally same size)
