SLK R170 front water runoff tray

Hey,

Can someone confirm the correct placement of the front water run off tray on a 2002 R170 SLK?

I've had my windscreen glass replaced today and can't remember if the top lip of the black tray (that the wiper arms come through) is supposed to fit under or over the bottom seal of the windscreen. I've been looking for pictures to answer my query but have had no luck.

The glass fitter has left it positioned over the top of the seal but there seems to be a 1mm gap now between the glass/seal and the tray.

SLK Water tray

Hi, Just been out to the garage to check on my 2002Slk and the tray fits over the rubber windscreen seal. Brian J

Cheers mate. Just didn't look right to me - could have sworn it used to tuck under the bottom windscreen seal. Thanks for checking
