This has been bugging me for two months now.

Usually check my tyre pressures about once a week and noticed that there was always a loss of between 2 & 3 psi on the front nearside and 1 & 2 psi on the rest.

So purchased a much more accurate pressure gauge and have been carefully checking the cold (overnight after garage parking so temperature fairly stable) pressures weekly and there is a constant low level loss of pressure. Had slow punctures before but never had anything where all the tyres slowly lose pressure like this.

Pirelli P7's, no sign of damage or puncture, did the soapy water bit on valves and not leaking, but then the rate is loss is very slow. Does not seem to vary with mileage either.

Any ideas?

Satch, do you live near a plumbers or gas fitters merchants? If you do, call in and get an aerosol of "Rocal" gas leak detector fluid or what ever make they sell. It must be aerosol. Give your tyres a good blathering, as we say in the trade, and it should show something up eventually. It doesnt dry out as quickly as soap/water and penetrates into parts soap/water cannot. Dont forget the backs of the tyres but I think you know that ;)

Your tyres need remounting.

You know you have a leak you have proved it by monitoring the pressure drop accurately.

Good luck.
