Pity the rear tyres were flat. You would feel like a king being driven in that.

Surely the bonnet on the SLR isn't closed properly? It's hinged at the front, and I would expect it just isn't locked in place.

no it wasnt the bonnet, this was raised by one of the magazines and to see it in front of you is such a shock... the otherside was lined up perfectly..
yes even the 600 had its faults, but at 40 odd years old i dont mind that so much..

Wow, that's terrible then. Is that your photo Jay? Difficult to believe that McLaren allowed it out of the factory in that condition; that Brooklands accepted it; that during inspection it wasn't picked up; that the sales bods and other personnel haven't noticed it and flagged it for remedial work...
