Smallish GTG at MBWorld?

Does this mean that we have to go through the entire carpark looking for these cars ?:) :) :)

Am looking for something to do with the kids and wifey on the last day of the holidays, so might well jump in the car and bring them up and join in

Passed this place many a time on the train to and from Waterloo, and have just browsed the website and a couple of threads on here

Can you put me down as a probable as I am not sure how to add to the list:confused:

As I'll be with family and others have taken their clans in the past, anybody able to give me the low down on costs. I know admission is free, but how much else, food aside should I be ready for?
The website doesn't mention costs anywhere and I don't like surprises:confused:

Any advices appreciated

Cheers

The cafe is not too bad for coffee and snacks but the resturant is expensive

Do I take it that the other facilities /shows / kids stuff are therefore 'free' - the driving is out, still too small

Thanks - I will seehow the weekend pans out and should be there

please add me to the list

I'll keep a look out for where you're all parking etc

DISC, Malcolm not shoe!!

After trying for several day to fix a common meeting place at MB, I have near given up and in the end I told the guy it was like trying to buy a new MB car.

Is it too late if we change the meeting place to the

http://silvermere-golf.co.uk/Silvermere-Surrey-Bistro-Al-Fresco-Lakeside-Restaurant.htm

there is a big area as you go in on the left where we can all park together,, have a chat and a drink or snack of what ever, and then go onto the meet,, we could say meet anytime up to 1pm.

I am happy to PM all people coming,, its only½ mile from MB world, and I have fixed up meets there before

12pm meet would be better for me (that way i don't get too late getting up the road to Sheffield!)

There used to be a car park on Horsell Common in Woking IIRC.

It's near the Mclaren Tech Centre

KJ

You have the same distance as I have 160 odd miles

trouble with a car park is finding it, we could keep the 12 time and anyone could come earlier as I would be early.

The slvermere golf is on the map and GPS and we can get refreshments cheap for those with kids

May as well just meet at MB World to be honest.

Agreed....I think that will be a lot easier and it will save hanging around.

How full is that gravel car park an MB world just down from the entrance to the Brooklands museum on a Sunday ?

How do we know each other, do I have to wear an MB T shirt, MB hat, And my teeth are my own, so I do not have MB ones
OK leave as is then

OK...whoever gets there first can stick an A4 piece of paper up on his window or dashboard saying MB Club....or all of us can do that.

We can then say meet in the gravel car park and that way we can circle through that car park and see where the other members are.

I have spoken to "Caroline" (0870 400 4000) at MB World who said that someone woiuld call me back by the end of the day. I have kept the request simple in that we just want car park space allocated for 25 cars; if that can be arranged then we will see what other activities we would like to do.

I guess Malcolm has already gone this route but another request wont go astray and if more people hassle them then they might sit up and take notice

Will keep you informed but I have to go out now
