South East meet 6th July - suggestions needed

Ok. Have you had any bad experiences with them Tony? I am new to the merc AMG scene and have always owned m5's! I was told by a friend of mine to check them out as he gets his c32 AMG serviced from them. I've only had my car for about three weeks and took it to them for a health check which they did for free and they seemed like a really good bunch!

No not bad experiences but my quote was a lot higher than the indi that finally did the work NJS solutions in West Kingsdown.
The car is also booked in with WG-MB in Harrow on the 20th
NJS did a good job and cant fault them but after talking to Terry at WG-MB i want to try them also.

Same here Tony! I washed and polished the car most of the day and when time came to go we had unexpected guests who turned up! I was basically told by the other half I have to be the host for the night!!! But I will definitely try to make the next meet up and meet everybody face to face!

Good luck with the car mate! Let me know what was wrong with it! Ive got the same motor and use a merc specialist in gravesend who is a AMG guru!

Cheers Suky,

Just waiting to hear back from Mercedes as to what has gone wrong with it, hopefully it's just the voltage regulator in the alternator!

I'm in London so might be difficult to get to Gravesend, but always good to know a good mechanic!

Well I didn't officially turn up to the meet as I was broken down just by the entrance to Bluewater! We had an impromptu meet on the slip road though whilst waiting for Mobilo recovery!

The sad thing was car was serviced, cleaned and semi-detailed ready for the meet!

I've been spoiled by the JCB, the sheer amount of power, the response in handling and the build quality! How can I ever go back to my AMG? :D

Thanks Tony for picking me up and showing me around the quarry and letting me have a go in the JCB! Sorry if it caused you any inconvenience!

Now I've seen the place, am tempted to bring a mountain bike and have a go at riding it through the quarry! Or get the R/C cars out!!

That was one of the strangest Bluewater meets I have been to but also the most fun!

Need to pack a portable BBQ as breakdowns are becoming too regular! :-)

Looked plenty big enough to me! I'm not a hardcore MB person, just to do some jumps etc!

Need to dig out my R/C cars and set them up, haven't used them in a long time!

Got 2 HPI Savages, one is in complete bits, the other one needs setting up! Also got a Heli, but can't fly it properly (yet)

I had a savage....bloody thing about as reliable as a TVR!

Hmm mine has been ok so far, apart from a blown engine (my fault) and some bent shocks! You still got any?
