sprinter 311 start error code

hi

i have a sprinter 311 - was working fine then start error now displayed on dash

engine turns over but will not start, checked all fuses, all ok

please can any one help

blimey, iv just joined this site and your the 3rd person, i thought i was alone here with this start error. williamsdiesels.com blokes name is dean in future, specialises in mercs, got a compact4 which he uses on my fleet, and he covers all uk if you are really stuck

Have you checked the fuel sounds like you have put petrol in diesel will ron for some time after you have filled

Start error on a merc, williamsdiesels.com did one for me over the weekend, he took my ecu and a black box out the dash, charged me £220, iv a fleet of sprinters, merc wanted £700 dean usually replaces the wsp, but now hes repairing them. Well worth a try, 1st one hes done but it did work and im better off by around £500

just a update, i passed williamsdiesels.com in the week at another courier friend of mines place, turns out Dean has made a new business in repairing the wsp/ ecus, he says hes done 15 in the last 3 weeks. So if anyone does have the same agg i had, give him a call
