My neighbours CCTV got a pic of the scum bag that stole my CLC 180K SPORT.

he was wondering around on the street at 2:35 AM and took the car around 2:43 AM :mad:

the car was sort of blocked in my drive and he drove over a tiny wall on my drive to get out no doubt probably smashing the bottom of the car up :wallbash::wallbash:

I HATE THIEF'S

Sorry to hear this, not a nice experience at all.

How did he start the car without the keys? I had my 5 series stolen a few years ago, Police suspected they used a computer to start the car.

Broke into my house and took the keys as I was sleeping mate, my mum sister gf and dad didn't hear a thing... :(

Iv had a friend had his X6 stolen using no keys

Tough break fella. Hope the CCTV pic is of use.

Not nice when you work hard for a goal and some toss pot waster wrecks it all.

I know how you feel fella, Have they recovered the car then.

Sound like it was stolen to order.

Everyone been saying that !

They haven't found the car yet .. But what is the best option in this case ?

For them to find the car ad have a "stolen recovered" car or to not find it get paid out and hunt for another mint condition like my one ?

The car had my private plate on it hope getting the plate back won't be hassle

I would prefer the payout all day long, wouldn't want the car back no matter how clean it 'was'

The private plate unfortunatly is gonna be gone for a while. The DVLA state that they will not re-issue a certificate for a plate attached to a stolen car until a year has passed. just incase its recovered.

Damn I just read that on dvla aswel oh well I'll report it now (car was stolen yesterday)

Hope no one else goes threw this hassle

Horrible feeling, sorry. I had a motorbike stolen once, it was pinched by joyriders and then deliberately wrecked, including draining the oil out before thrashing it. Was recovered two days later but I had to collect the sorry looking remains and weep at it the state of it, while I had a fight with insurers to get paid. This included an insurance assessor coming to see the wreck and asking me "So what vehicle was it that you hit again?".

All sorted in the end, got the right payout, but for your sake, I hope it never reappears.

Had my garage broken into last week. along with mountain bikes (2k each , not insured) and various other bits. They went through my tool box. Took the Mrs's motorbike gear and my Astar boots.

Worst of all they took my mint condition 3000 mile K6 GSXR1000 and the £250 almax chain attached to it. The chain and other bits are replaceable but the bike will never be replaced. I'm gutted about that as its the bike I've always wanted and hunted high and low to find the right one.

I hope so too mate!

I just want the money and go out and get another nice clean CLC with the same extras as mine

Argh that's horrible mate

We spend our time working making money to buy nice cars or bikes we even take our time finding the right one for some scum bag to steal it and treat it like ****

Very sorry to hear this, its just plain wrong. I can guess how you feel as I was always more personally attached to my bikes than any car I have owned. I kept a baseball bat after my theft and did rush out in the middle of the night once...long story

I hope they get whats coming to them and you get some better news soon

Sorry to hear it - how is the CCTV footage? Are the faces visible? If so, may be worth posting online, the collective investigative power can be quite useful ;)

It's quite blurry to be honest my neighbour has the footage and has kindly let the police have it. I'll see if I can get a copy that I can upload

Sorry to hear of your bad luck-hope the scumbag gets their just rewards:mad:

This is getting quite common where some scrote breakes into your home just for the car keys.
This is why I fitted a key safe on the wall next to the front door
Depending upon the quality, if may not stop them but at least they will make a racket pulling it off the wall or breaking into it. Great if you keep a bat next to the bed

Sorry to hear of your woes

Andy

Sorry to hear this and I really feel for you.

My last car before my CLC was a BMW e92 M3 and that was stolen in Feb this year without keys- OBD theft via cloned key. They are so easy to steal but that's another matter.

Insurance will leave it a few weeks and if it isn't recovered they will declare total loss.

It is a really gutting time, I hope it all works out ok for you eventually.

Thanks everyone for your kind words

The insurance said they will start processing it because how long can they give time finding the car ,, but I suppose actions speak louder than words

Iv heard of bmws getting stolen without cars that's horrible mate

I suppose the moral of the story is not to leave your keys near the front door or anywhere else that is obvious and visible but how many of us take the trouble ? I know I don't even after reading about incidents like this.
