:(:(

Some absolute **** has ripped off my rear boot lip spoiler! Went out this morning to fetch some milk and lo and behold all was left was adhesive on my boot, someone had literally ripped it off!

So fricking annoyed!!

Any ideas where to get another?

CKS is in my area, but they a tad bit pricey!

Most likely the lowlife scrote that did that was on his way home from the pub/club and thought it would be a great laugh to ruin someones pride and joy. I feel your pain. Flogging is too good for these *****!
Anything on eBay?

I am sooo peeved off, i cant tell you, i feel like staying outside and waiting for any passer by who comes by and looks at my car and literally getting them in a rear naked choke and smashing them to bits. This is the 2nd time something like this has happened, first time they ripped off my wipers, now this, i am losing my patience, anyone know where i can buy that car alarm that electrifies the fcuker that tries to touch my car??

Feel your pain.

Some low life 1st January this year about 7:30am kicked tailights on my MK5 Golf. Worst thing I heard it and saw some one just leaving my drive but thought this time in the morning no one will do such a low life act.

above is the nice little present they left me, wnkrs.. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

That spoiler hasn't been removed as an opportunist bit of vandalism, it's been stolen for another car.

Are AMG spoilers on new cars easy to remove? Any I've taken off old pre-merger cars are a complete ba5tard to get off undamaged.

Ooer!!

I hope you at least offer them a reach-around

Joking aside, really sorry to hear this bud :(

You'll just need to get a replacement spoiler.
Sucks, I know, but there's not much else you can do :(

OP , sorry to hear of your misfortune .

You could try some of the specialist breakers such as Mercman or Rob Parker ; alternatively someone like Euromerc might be able to source one . The main dealer ought to be able to supply - at a price .

No damage to the bootlid I hope ?

I too am surprised it was only stuck on - spoilers used to be bolted on through the bootlid .

Probably stolen to order maggots! they are on ebay from germany from 75euros unpainted, reckon £50 tops to paint.

Am just wondering, has anyone bought an aftermarket alarm? Am wondering why the alarm didn't at least kick in...need a detterent I think.... Any recommendations?

No ebay uk search motors-parts-mercedes w204 spoilers, should pick it up in English.

A big dog in his kennel on the drive beside your car - all part of his territory .

Looks like the car is parked on the road.

If a dog attacks someone, irrespective of the land it is on, the owner is liable to prosecution and the animal put down.

Perhaps not the best idea, after all.

I'm sure .

However , an alarm won't stop someone stealing a spoiler . It 'might' go off if they trigger a motion sensor , then again it might not .

A proper trained guard dog will let an intruder in , but won't let them back out , and will alert his owner without attacking anyone : they are trained to hold onto an intruder's arm without causing injury if they try to leave .

If the car is on the road , then a covert camera inside to constantly record may be the best option .

What about a perimeter alarm which sounds when the space around the car is invaded? but if parked on the road this might get a lot of false alarms.

MB changed the way they mounted the spoilers a few years ago using an adhesive that was more flexible and had a longer cure time, unfortunately this makes them very easy to remove from a new car.

no alarm will detect spoiler being removed, i used to have a perimeter alarm on a M3 i used to own as the mirrors kept getting stolen, it was either too sensitive so every car person going by would set it off , or set just right but mirors could still be taken without it going off

only way would be to install a microswitch under the spoiler so if removed would set it off. tbh, total waste of time as by the time the alarm went off the spoiler would be long gone!

its just a problem of parking in the street im afraid!
