Trouble is, AMG alloys without the shiny rim don't look good. And they also look like imitations.

Will they store your car for you?

Agree, AMG alloys look good with polished rims but you have to look after them.

The wheels I am talking about are Avant Garde wheels not AMG wheels, if I could afford AMG wheels I would get the rims polished.

The AG wheels look better all painted in my opinion, you can have too much shiny stuff if you are not carefull.

I totally agree C240.

Mine are the 16" OEM Avantgarde 5 spokers. As I said, I can't see the point on spending £400 when I could buy another set of 17s.

My car is at the dealer this morning for an oil change so I will have a look a their wares when I go pick it up.

Hehe not picking on you again C240Sport..............my car has AMG's without a polished lip.

They are original, but guess they may have been refinished at somepoint. I personally like them. My interest in this thread is because at somepoint I want to get them refurbed to A1, but I would have them done the same I think.

I haven't taken offence, don't worry, just posting pics for reference.
