Hi there,
Hope someone with greater knowledge than me can help me!
I've had a particular W123 stood for 4 years on dry ground under a 3 season car cover.
I've encountered the NS rear hub is locked, and won't turn.
Freeing off the rust between pad and disc, it now turns sideways only 1/2", but hits a dead stop each way with a "clung" sound.
Are the pistons jammed on? Is the star wheel anything to do with it - which I can't see due to the position of the hub?
How can I expect to free this?
If anybody has a suggestion I would be eternally grateful.
I have clear access around the vehicle and a rubber hammer at hand...
Thanks in advance, Jeff
