After deliberating for some while & some advice form Smatt, I changed my old dated cloth interior for a leather set from a 2008 CLC, purchased via E Bay from Brentwood Autospares at Chelmsford.

It was an easy & rewarding task that I completed in about 3 hours.

Full marks to Brentwood Autospares who were a great bunch of guys to deal with

Looks great- bet its even better in the flesh/hide.
Well done & a bargain- cheaper than I expected!

Do you mind if i ask how much it cost?

Tony.

The interior that I purchased was a bargain at £250 & paid via Paypal although I needed to use the interior door handles & 1 window switch from my old interior.

If you goggle Hills salvage in Liverpool they sell interiors at £395 +vat delivered

It looks excellent! An inspiration.

Thats very cheap for that. Cheapest I saw when I did my search on ebay for £450.

Thank you larrie.

The actual interior that I purchased came from the Chelmsford yard of Brentwood Auto Salvage. who let me swop the interior in their parking area.

Job well done !
You drove all the way from Plymouth to Chelmsford to do the swap ?
Did you agree on an exchange price for your existing interior ?

Looks much better and at that price sounds like a money well spent!

Thank you yes I drove from Plymouth to Chelmsford to do the swop, as the seller was reluctant to send the interior via courier
, but I incorporated it into few days touring holiday & no I just left the old bits at the yard.

I do love the inside & believe that it has added on a few pounds to the resale value

Top job and it looks great. It should help with resale too which is an added bonus.

Looks really great what a transformation. Did you kept looking at the interior when you got back in to drive away what a smile you must of had.

Ed China would be proud of you
