Had a look for the labels on my shocks but unable to detect anything, sorry.

OK Its Saturday and we are getting ready to do shocks, springs and spring caps on my drive! We being me and Steve the MB mechanic.

Starting positions, existing ride height.

and rear.

How to do rear shock absorbers.

First remove lining of boot, both sides and floor so as to reveal the tops of the shock absorbers.

You can now see the Shocks top bolt and locking nuts.

Then jack up car so that the wishbones drop. This gives you accessto the Shock absorbers.

Then remove the bolt retaining the bottom of the shock.

Remove old shock shown here against new Sachs Super Touring shock

Fit new shock through top mount and then replace retaining bolt on lower wishbone.

The new shocks could not be compressedsingle handedly but the old ones compressed very easily. Even more worryingly they took several seconds to return to the proper length when released. At 75,000 miles these shocks are a long, long way past their sell by date!!! Please get your shocks checked.

Replace washer and locking nuts on the top of the shock. Repeat all of the above for the other side and lower the car having first checked that everything is seated prperly and is done up to the correct torque.

On to the harder job of the front shocks and spring caps.

Locate the shocks top bolts under the bonnet.

Remove locking nuts and washer as per the rear shocks.

Moving to under the car we need to remove the spring using a spring compressor. This is dangerous and best done by someone who knows what they are doing. This picture shows the spring compressed and the anode removed. The anode stops the spring coroding.

The spring pads fit over the anode. Left in this picture is a No1 and right is No3.
