Suzzie, the CLK 500 so this happened

I must say that is a very nice example of a CLK. I have a 320 which is well specced but I am now wishing I had looked for a 500 instead. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the shove of the V6 but I do have the craving for a V8 before the ICE is taken from us by force. Will look nice with a set of staggered 18's fitted (like mine).

Thankyou Beardz, yes i love a v8 agreed a set of staggered wheels would like nice.

Very very nice car.

CLK500's are generally rare, but rocking horse residue rare to find with low mileage, let alone in an interesting colour, . What colour is it? Tanzanite?

I worked with three City guys in the mid-noughties who had CLK500 coupes as company cars and they loved them: stylish and very practical.

18" wheels will give you a much better cruise with less scuttle shake. If the leather is showing its age, then reconnollisation would pay its way.

You've done well there: great little project for a year.

Thankyou for the kind words Mike,

Colour wise its Jasper Blue

Very nice. V8 burble with the roof down this summer will be a very nice place to be.
Oh, and a fabric roof to vacuum, then clean, and proof over and over (as is your way) will provide hours of entertainment.

It looks in great condition already, but, you know you......;)

That looks like a beautiful example, couldn't stay away from an MB for long! lol

What did the wife say when you told her you're bringing topless Suzzie home? :D

Sensational looking car

Will the CLK take a 8.5j et35 wheel front and back does anyone know?
That size and ET will fit fine Gav.
Alloy wheels Direct are saying you can put a 9j ET35 wheel on all round.

Thanks Roger for doing the homework bud :)

@HB Can't believe how many nice comments i've had from passer's by today,
You’ll continue to get them. That is a classy modern Merc.

Sue gets them too, especially when she has the roof down. Watched her pull away the other day and thought what a very good looking car!

(Helped by the driver I hasten to add,,,,,)

You know it is one of life's mysteries as to why the values of these cars are so low! It is one of only a few cars I have ever owned where I look back at it and think "that is a cracking looking car" Mine is 17 years old and still looks as good (if not better) than current Mercs let alone from other manufacturers.

Classy and Classic

That's nice .. .welcome to 4 seater, V8 Cabrio club!

Jasper Blue is a great colour. I remember seeing a CLK55 in that colour and it really stood out against the normal silver or black cars.

The CLK's are maturing nicely I reckon. I think my A207 has someway to go yet before it gets to that point.

It would look loads better with Sarah and some CAKES sat in it............. Don't suppose I dare post photo of my W209 coupe... With or without cakes............:dk:
