EU4 means that its prob got a particulate filter to stop that puff of diesel smoke coming out the back of the car under acceleration which is supposed to help the environment.

and the car is slightly less economical - which according to my sums negates the other part.
You know I'd like an E Class (ride comfort etc) that's about the size of a B class.

EU4 is the latest standards for emmission control -- up to Dec 2005 all company cars that didnt meet EU4 standard had an extra 3% added to their tax banding....Of course when Gordon realised all diesel cars by 2006 would reach this level he added 3% to all diesels .....so much for caring about the environment when confronted with a way of raising more revenue...

if you want full leather then strike a deal....with the dealer on having it leatherd ....2 years ago it was about 1,200 quid on a c class so go on and ask ...you never know.....sounds great anyway

On the pre-face-lift 211 Avantgarde, full leather was £950. The reason for this being that half leather comes as standard.

grey leather looks superb with the blue tint on the windows of the avantgarde.

its not so much a list of extras but a build sequence for the factory to work to. The specs of mb cars worldwide differ and everything on the cars has a number to allow them to build the car to the spec that the importer sells it as.

And some people just prefer the back without the numbers. Mine was debadged when I got it and I prefer the way it looks.

You tend to find a lot of German big engined cars are de badged, it seems the style in the uk is for lower engined cars to be de-badged.

I guess debadging an E55 and putting E200Cdi would be funny....
