EEK Oh, hang on, it's already ruined because it's a diesel.automaniaman said:Get it valeted here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrWkpnP0pXs
Having a tow bar fitted.
De-badge it.
I saw two Mercs de-badged this morning, and was annoyed as I wanted to know what model they were.
Personalised number plates are also very annoying.

Star grille belongs on a SL, and bonnet badge wouldn't be at all out of place IMHO. But on a big old E class.. nah. My wheels are silver, as is some of my hair, and I'm decades away from being a whippersnapper.

I'll refrain from the describing the delightful sound which now emanates from my rear end when I'm feeling enlivened, then.Far too much information
This is what I was talking about:
De-badge it.
Probably the best thing they ever did. Appeals to the modern younger generation rather than a handful of boring luddites who don't want to join the 21st century.
PS My wheels are black too
Having the letters AMG stuck on almost every model that has literally nothing to do with AMG.
I'm specifically referring to the AMG trim models in every merc lineup. Honestly why have AMG badges, trims wheels etc when it's nothing to do with models coming out of the AMG factory. Surely it devalues the AMG brand when it's a trim option on every model.???cb1965 said:It hardly ruins it though does it? I really don't get this obsession with why anyone gets upset over a badge even if it is on the 'wrong' car!
