Bump, can't impress on folk enough to find a b&b unless they want to kip in their cars

Please do, and then if you could add your name to the accomodation booked list.

3 nighter for me Steve. Ill do the Premier Inn Glasgow way for Fri and Sunday and follow your lead for the Saturday.

Just rejoined this thread after an absence and its likely I would be up for a 3 nighter as well.
Please keep me posted as to definate dates and also places that you would recommend to stay..
Thank you.

The dates and routes are set Simon and folk have started to book accommodation, I would recommend strongly, if you want to come, that you do this sooner rather than later.

Steve, I trust that it would not be rude to join the party for the Saturday morning. I believe that I can get the Friday off work to drive up, but would need to drive back to the south coast on the Sunday. My intention would leave you all after Saturday lunch so that I can enjoy the Dukes pass and get back to Dumbarton or Milngavie for Saturday evening ready for the Sunday drive home.

Please do. I could suggest a decent one day route for you. I'll pm you one tomorrow

apologies for being thick ..

Re: Premier Inn Dumbarton -- am I right in thinking that this is Milngavie as per last year?

Either will do....

I think Milngavie is where the troops are going. Its easier for driving up from down south, but 35mins from start point rather than 5mins. Glasgow is better served for eating out etc.

Meeting point will be

Duck Bay
Hotel & Restaurant
Loch Lomond
G83 8QZ

9:30am is plenty of time.

Aviemore (Roo's Leap for lunch) and head up via Glencoe, I may throw Inverarray into day 1's mix too. I have given googlemaps links, but I do these just off my head as all the roads here are familiar to me.

Finally got my work rota thru ,unfortunately got to work that one, maybe next year.

Bummer, most of this route should be familiar to you?

Any chance of making the Lunch on Saturday or Sunday, Aviemore both will be lunch stops.:thumb:

Sorry working from8.00am friday right thru to 6.00pm monaday

You are right though know all those roads but still would have been good come along

Next year matey
