So I tried out my new AG goodies

Rinse, wash 2bm with Armourall carwash and microfibre mitt, rinse then repeated.
Dried with microfibre
Clayed with AG clay kit
Washed and dried again
Polished with AG SRP
Touched up stonechips with Halfords touch up kit
Waxed with Turtlewax black wax
Waxed with AG HD wax ( wow, what a nice wax to use )
Windows with AG Fastglass ( wow, what a rubbish product )
Tyres with AG Instant Tyre Dressing

I`m pleased with the result :)

Not in the same league as R2D2, but I tried ;)

I'm going to do the same to mine can i ask how long it took as it looks great

About 8 hours in total o2drive, then again I did have someone making the Tea :-)

Very nice, nothing beats a freshly detailed black car. Super glossy and deep finish.

Really surprised you don't like AG Fast Glass, that is an amazing product. If your glass is pretty dirty or hasn't been deep cleaned in a while get AG Car Glass Polish. Not as nice to use but brings the glass up a treat and you can just use Fast Glass afterwards.

To be fair to AG, I didn`t dry the glass, I left water sitting on it to dry off, so there were water marks all over it.
Only had the car for a few weeks, so I suppose I need to clay and polish the glass first.

Well done KurlyKris! Excellent job. Thats the hard bit done-ie to get it started, maintaining that finish and adding coats is the easy bit! Well done :)

Thanks R2D2, should be quite easy to maintain now, although I still have a few fiddly bits to clean properly, especially the front bumper/driving lights and around the bonnet /boot shutlines.
I was quite surprised at the amount of dirt and debris blocking the drain points !

Sun

Looks great, nothing better than a good polishing session on a sunny day.
