The Wednesday Afternoon Windscreen Price Guessing Game

I got a chip in the windscreen of the RR Sport without noticing and after my wife has driven over a speed hump at 60mph, it turned to an unrepairable crack.

The windscreen is heated (little wires running through the screen) and my car has auto lights and wiper sensors.

My insurance policy doesn't cover windscreens, so I've had to pay for a new one myself.

Anyone care to have a guess at the price, including fitting? This isn't a cash job or by a friendly firm either, this is as a normal punter walking in off the road (so to speak)

Getting your wife's eyes tested would be my priority.

I'll not give the company name away just yet, but it is a windscreen company that operates throughout the country.
