I think ive about had my fun out of the CLS55.
Ive always fancied a Lexus ISF so maybe time to move on. The CLS is a stunning car and that engine is equally impressive.
This particular vehicle is a desirable model with extensive SH and maintenance record. Including recent dynamic seat overhaul and engine header and breathers sorted. Pretty much all the extras execpt lingua and dista
Would £15000 be a fair asking price do you think?

Needs to be immaculate with low miles i think, that's pretty strong money.

The ISF is a great car but having driven one I'd think you might be a bit deflated after the CLS? Try one though as it definitely is more "dynamic" in the way it drives than the CLS.

ISF is nice. There was one with me at Oulton park on Saturday. It managed to destroy it brake pads, and then when he had new brembo ones fitted they were smoking like hell after a few laps.

It had a K@N induction and it sounded awesome.

Im not keen on the interior console though and bit that runs between the 2 front seats.

Not sure its a worthwhile switch from a CLS55.

From 3:40 I reel in the ISF. hehe. It wasn't that impressive on the straights either, before he cooked his brakes. I wouldn't change from a CLS55 to one, personally.

If he hadn't gone "Ploughing" you may not have reeled him in, he was pulling over to check the car out.

Why didn't you use your paddles at all ?

LOl I reeled him in way before he went off. He pulled over cus his brakes were gone.

He was no faster when he came back later with fresh pads.

I need to have a drive naturally, and i dont think many cars will give that awesome torque feeling like the 55k gives. The one i have is i beleive the only one in the UK with designo interior ivory leather black dash and piano black inlays. Plus those deep concave diamond cut veemann rims really set it off. Its done 96k but have invoices for over £12k of maintenance over the years. its stunning. Ha there i go talking myself into keeping her lol

This, the ICW version was around £15k due to its rarety.

Your best to aim for £11-12k - they are rising in value, but not £15k high

Not sure about the icw ones but iwc surely are rare ! Lol

The ISF is understated to the point of being boring...after a CLS AMG it would be a huge disappointment.

I would much rather have your CLS than the Lexus, obviously just my opinion. If you are looking for a more agile car , there are much better cars than the IS-F available, again in my opinion.

I should have one soon, so one more in "proper" ownership! ;o) :bannana:
