Engine oil cooler in our ML250 (reg 2015) was found leaking oil. When the car was brought to the dealership additional problem was diagnosed. Namely
"... and also found the throttle valve actuator seals also leaking oil" I am not a mechanic, but what oil should be doing near throttle valve / throttle valve actuator. Should oil be only in the engine, lubricating engine parts: to the best of my understanding throttle valve should only adjust amount of air&fuel mixture coming to the engine to be burnt. If anyone could shed some light into the system and how it works it would greatly appreciated. Is it a common problem for ML250? Apologies if question sounds stupid, I am not a mechanic, it is pure curiosity and desire to understand how these beautiful machines operate. Thanks
