TOMTOM fitted - with docking station

I've just viewed the 4 mounts available for the C class, there is a centre console pro clip, (poss too low down for a sat nav though) or a proclip which mounts to the left of the radio, neither of these cover any vents.

Yes, I've seen that. First of all I have one Brodit holder (for one of my PDAs, paid like £70 few years ago) and I'm not impressed. They are expensive and not that good.

Also, left to the radio is too low me thinks. If distracted than it would take to much time to look down and than back on the road!

I've got two Brodit clips in our W208, Pax side one has a Carcomm cradle affixed into which my TomTom 930 fits and the right hand one is used for testing devices but at the moment simply has the remote for my Alpine iDA-X100 stereo attached.
