Hi All,

Long story but was looking at chopping the 32 in against a tvr:confused: .
After finally waking up and coming to my senses I decided that all I wanted was the noise to go with power..

so !!!

Have had a eisenmann exhaust fitted to my Slk32 today and decided to have it remapped on the way home @ T/BHP.

Results are great, car feels much more nimble and responsive. definite bhp gain, but the torque is so much better....

As for the Eisenmann, to be honest when I first started it up you couldn't hear much difference:( but it starts to sing when under load and am really pleased  ..

Have spent up now and should keep me happy for at least the time being..

Thought I would share this with you guys !!

I have also modified the exhaust on my SLK32, I'd took it to Longlife exhaust centre to have the centre box removed and a straight through 3" pipe with Y-adaptor welded in place of it and kept the standard back box and pipes to make it look factory. The V6 roar is so much more satisfying, it is now very similar sounding to a Nissan 350Z on full chat! :D

Great mods both of you.

Benzyone we need dyno results! Extra power is easy to imagine with extra noise.

Not sure if I will get it dynoed ? Anyone know one local to me + cost ??

Had the exhaust fitted in London and the remap in Cambridge so did run the exhaust stand alone for a bit.

Can tell the difference on the M/way, it pulls like a train and doesn't need to change down as much.

Round town feels more lively..

Thanks
Matt

www.awesome-gti.co.uk aren't exactly local - near Manchester - but they have an excellent reputation from what I hear. Big fans too which is important.

I'm going over there with another owners club at the end of the month. They said auto is no problem but will be 'at the wheel' figures only.

Which reminds me, anyone know how to put the C32 in dyno mode, and then return to normal?

Manchester is not a problem (1hour).

Might tag along if thats ok, what date is it ??

Cheers
Matt

I think it's the last Saturday of the month - which is 24th Feb.

Take up has been good, and I believe we're now at the maximum Awesome can do that day. I'll find out if there are any cancellations.

I think Torquing BHP have been in touch with the forum regarding sponsorship - I know they were keen to offer a new discounted rate for group bookings.

I had a RR session a few months ago at AMD, Bicester, and got 278BHP @ Wheels (calculated 340BHP @ Fly), it's about 10BHP less than other standard tune 32's I've seen, but again it depends on the setup of the rollers, everwhere you go will vary.

Rolling roads are one thing, but trust me when you drive it you will know!!

Darrell at T/BHP offers a money back guarantee, check out the feedback on his website.

C32 was remapped and the guy dynoed it and then left the testemonial...

Thanks
Matt
