Touring: Loch Rannoch and The Sma Glen

Congratulations on your new car Steve it looks great and many thanks for the wonderful photo's as usual jealous as ever of your photographic skills. Fantastic countryside you have.

I can vouch for these as I fitted them to my CLS. Obviously not as good as xenons, but a definite improvement.

Brilliant car by the way!

We're discussing our Scotland road trip as I write this. I reckon we'll probably come up in the Auris Hybrid (I need the reliability!!!) SWMBO wants to come up sooner than later, so I'll keep you posted.. :D

Peter, thanks for the kind words. It's a cracking wee motor.

Rayni, weather better hold out but this is a great place to tour and the mini route you have is excellent.

Barry just say when, last weekend in September is out as is the 1st two but free all October and other times.

David, it's strange how it works but there must be additional fog lighting in there

Just want to add my own appreciation of your excellent photographs. I have been to Loch Awe a few times and Argylleshire Oban Mull Skye Morar etc and also Inverness and Loch Ness area. You are very lucky to live so near to that fantastic scenery and you certainly have the knack of being able to take really wonderful shots!
Also you have a good car . Mine's same year same model but 250 engine. Let's face they do look lovely don't they!

I really enjoyed these photos, looks like a fantastic tour, the new estate looks first class as well.

I reckon the shed would use about the same amount of fuel, its not terrible economical. That said, I had it at 44.1mpg just NSL cruising but I'd have hoped for it to be more economical.

Thats how I drive, windows down, taking in the fresh country air. All the way back last night windows down. Lovely.

These are stunning locations and runs you mention. All great. A 250cdi would be lovely, I understand more efficient thab my car and that bit more powerful although coming from the E320cdi, it doesn't really feel a major step down in performance.

Its good to be in a car that won't fall to bits, I love it, and its a looker.

Contrary to what you think, I don't always hoof it about.
