Looks like a good deal.....Talk Talk are doing something similar with v. cheap international calls. Also has the benefit of sims at £10 per month with free calls between them.....good for talking to Mrs A!!

Thanks for this - might be just what my FIL needs! You say it includes line rental - you sure? I can't see it in the small print, but there again, that is what small print is for!

Yes, "your transfer of your line rental will be seamless" from the letter I received. Cant find how long the deal goes for, but at £17.99 I am happy!!

Errrrr - Tiscali just answered as I read your reply and Mark stated that "None of the bundle prices quoted include line rental"

Maybe you want to try too - as we know sometimes they do not know the correct answer. 0800 1079000 (and they answer really quick!)

Yup, my mistake. Seems they take your line rental over as well, saving you 1p on the bt cost.

Still a good deal for me though!

we've been on this deal for a while and it's great

Working from home means that we use the phone a lot during the daytime so it made a lot of sense.

Unlike many of the free call offers, these are not internet phone callsthey are proper BT landline calls

0845 local evening rate = 1p

0870 national day rate = 7.91p
0870 national day rate = 3.95p
0870 national weekend rate = 1.49p

calls to mobiles vary from between 3p and 20p

Just to clarify for those that follow - at the time of writing the £17.99 deal is for an up to 8MB fair useage Broadband service with free UK telephone calls (exclusions apply 0845 etc). The telephone line rental charge will still be payable to BT.

Still a good deal just - not quite as good.

I'm really interested in the £19.99 line rental deal but can't find any info on their website. Am I missing something obvious?

The package is supposed to be anytime now they did say early in the year but has slipped as have most similar deals due to BT I think. Now that Virgin have a £20 package line rental broadband and free calls I would think that tiscali are about to announce theirs.
