urgent advice on car on ebay

Good luck with this car....let us know how you get on

nope,,no good,,winning bidder has 2 feedbacks from him in 2005,,so hes still got the car I recon

Looks like a bit of last minute safety shill bidding. Wouldn't be at all suprised to find the last bid placed was around £15K. Doesn't really help in deciding whether it was a genuine offer and they got scared at the end or if it was a scam.

I see the bidding has ended but PLEASE never rush into buying a car on Ebay. For the next several months every con merchant that ever walked this earth will be buying wrote off, flood damaged cars and selling them on Ebay. If you cannot get to view the car, then consider paying an expert; if there isn't time to do it, then walk away and keep looking.

That car looked very nice, but that is just it. The car LOOKED very nice.

Good luck with your search and I'm sure your car is out there.

I had my first mercedes off ebay
and although I did like the car I had really been misled
it was covered in dents and the whole of the offside had been resprayed
it was only £800 but I suspect it was worth left
After a hell of a lot of elbow grease I sold it for a slight profit
but I probably put 20 hours into it

This was what the interior looked like when I met him at the train station

I took the covers off the seats thinking that they would be ok but they were as bad as the carpets until 3 hours with a bissel carpet cleaning machine

its amazing how photos hide dents and scratches etc so never ever buy one without seeing the car in real life

many many hours later...................
