Viano facelift.

Good find there Nick, Auto folding F65 is there ok, its the auto fold thats the key as we don't have that, you have to hold the button down.
So camera is unknown.

I was thinking of a new rear screen and a pair of lights, theres a few £ there so it can wait.
Mirrors next, electric heated and folding with lights and camera going in, the camera points at the road on the near side and displays in the rear view mirror.
What I need for that is the code for that camera for the data card to SCN code.

The new rear lights look good and a big improvement. Had another look at them and both them and the screen are very different - amazing how unobservant I can be.

Is there nothing on the datacard for that VIN you have with the camera fitted ??

Found the part number for the camera , its A0028209097 and its shown in the new shape viano mirror shell , not checked mine for any housing yet , but will have a look in a bit

the code referring to it is F65,F69 and ZJ1 which is the code for Japanese spec vehicles

I have the mirrors fitted on mine now but have a problem, the same as my white 120!
I have lost the 3 flashes on lock, I have it narrowed down this time to enabling auto folding and the global lock is looking for the mirrors, it does not find them and fails, so I can go back to the white 120 I sold and fix that for a start by disabling it.
On mine I might change both door controllers for the latest type.
Anyone with developer out there that could plug in there vito and enable it to see if you get the same symptoms?

Just cross ref epc and all new vitos and vianos have new door controllers that support F65 auto folding

A639 900 31 01 and A639 900 32 01 just over £130 each.

£130 each , thats a lot of dosh, but guess its worth it to get them working. So you recon ALL facelifted vitos have these door controllers, or just from a certain year ??


Guess i will be needing them aswell then in readiness for the door works after my holidays .

All Vito and Vianos now have this controller.
It's a model improvement number.

I had a call form the parts manger today at my dealers, they cannot update my data card with vdock for F65 as its not for my model?
Well I know that, is that not what updates are all about, model improvements?
I know it needs a new cluster as mine does and new door controllers also as mine now has.
So why will it not allow that update?

Hi Zenman, you seem to be the man in the know when it comes to the Viano

Do you happen o know anything about retrofitting the double central floor rails? My 04 plate hasn't got the extra rails for the table and I'd love to know if its possible to fit the wider twin rails..

Hi, Yes they fit, its the stock holes in the floor.
The floor is the same as the vito, or should I say the Viano is the same as the Vito floor as long as you have the holes there.

Have a result now, they had the wrong vin! and F65 is now done.

As you can see there on and working in auto mode, lock and they fold, they stay folded until the key goes in, I was worried that they would go in and out as you open and close but it seems MB thought about it and they stay in.
So much better than the stock vito mirrors, and 100% better than the old Viano mirrors.

Hi guys, Am I reading this right,...... There is a way to get my 13 plate sport x folding mirrors to fold when I lock the van?

This F65 code, I guess is activated via star?

Been looking at a few improvements I want to do, and the mirrors is one. Poor show from mb to not have them fold on lock.
Reverse camera and pre heater are the other two.

New to the forum so will introduce myself and start a new thread tomorrow.
