Hi guys, Am I reading this right,...... There is a way to get my 13 plate sport x folding mirrors to fold when I lock the van?

This F65 code, I guess is activated via star?

Been looking at a few improvements I want to do, and the mirrors is one. Poor show from mb to not have them fold on lock.
Reverse camera and pre heater are the other two.

New to the forum so will introduce myself and start a new thread tomorrow.

Hi, and welcome.
If you have folding mirrors then it can be enabled to auto fold yes.
Easy way is add F65 to the data card at your dealers parts counter and book in to have it added with SCN coding.
If not you can find in on star yes and enable convenience in the cluster and then mirrors fold unlock.
Its very cool and knows the drivers door so you can lock and fold and reopen the back and they stay folded until you open the drivers door.

Hi everyone, just thinking about making some more mods to my Vito after an enforced break...

My 2009 Dualiner has the big ugly mirrors which I would like to change. I'd like to do it properly and upgrade to the Viano folding mirrors, as discussed earlier in this thread.

Obviously I will need to source the actual mirrors themselves, but is anyone here able to tell me exactly what parts I need to acquire to complete the job and what needs updating in order to make everything work properly, including the indicators?

If you spend a little time using the search function- go advanced- and look at Zenman63's threads/posts, I am pretty sure there is an itemised list or at least all the parts (and part numbers) are mentioned.

You will need both mirrors, the bowl backs add spraying to match your vehicle,2x door controllers, door switch plus coding [code above] at Mercedes all this come in at around £800-1000 depending on the bowl back. hope that helps

Thanks for the replies. I did spend some time using the search function but failed to find what I was looking for. I will try again when I have more time (in between working, building my house, looking after four children, etc, etc). I am hoping to move the Vito up the list of jobs for a bit of excitement!
