Views on this car, please?

With the E320cdi there was nothing really to ever upgrade to, it did everything so well.
Sure a newer version is nicer, but I was never bored of the E320, and knew being realistic, without going AMG, I was sort of at my limit of what I could realistically afford to run without it pissing me off.

I know for a fact after a few months in an E220 I would be getting itchy feet and looking through Autotrader again.

I tried to buy a 220 but the PX on the shed was too low.

The 220 delivers all the things you are after.

Things with car forums is that people advocate opinions try both and see what you like. Undoubtably the 320 will impress more, but as an own ship proposition the 220 IMHO is miles better. If you find the 220 good enough get it, if it doesn't meet your standards don't.

Black death affects 270s and 320I6 more than 220s. Not heard of it being common at all.

Black death is common on the IL6 over 100k miles.
