I have a W209 CLK Convertible. Its a Sept 2003 car with the Comand 2.0 Sat Nav. It also has a UHI connector with a Nokia 6820 cradle in the armrest.

If I want to put in a Viseeo Bluetooth adapter do I

A) Purchase a Viseeo MB-2 (MBU-2000) and replace the current 6820 cradle with it

or

B) Purchase a Viseeo MBU-1000 and a UHI 6320i cradle and swap out the 6820 cradle

Thanks in Advance

Less confused now :)

Viseeo MB2 works perfectly with the UHI in my W209 CLK Convertible. I guess mine must be one of the first cars to have it (Sept 2003) Even the manual has references to the build in Nokia kit and no mention of UHI

@puffsorted, ahh, interesting... have just this week picked up an SL500 '03 and I have been having trouble figuring out what model of the Viseeo is going to work. I was settled on the MB-2 but kept on seeing details about the Nokia cradle for that year and that the MB-2 wouldn't work, but there isn't a cradle in the car. So I was thinking, like you, I'd have to get a cradle and the 1000.

Like your CLK, (BTW, 55 AMG - that must kick!) ours was made in the latter half of the year - October from memory. Like your manual, ours references the Nokia cradle too. Good, I'll get the MB-2.

Thanks for the post.

Is it Viseeo the only option for old phone system to keep controls in sterring wheel? I really would like to get bluetooth and keep at least option to mute sound and answer thru controls - northging else :P
