W123 Petrol to Diesel swap advice, please.

I've a petrol to diesel swap ambition.

Does anyone know of anyone who would undertake that sort of thing for me, and roughly what'd be the costs involved?

I have both cars (W123's) in their original state at the moment.

Any info gratefully received!

The whole thing depends on the cost of the swap. I'm in no hurry, so I could leave it with someone as a hospital job, but I'd want them to be competent, not experimental!

have a word with Rob Parker at THree Pointed Parts. He had a diesel W124 Coupe. I think he did that himself but he knows a bloke in Somerset who does transplants

Yes, the diesel has a bad body.

Its fairly easy given you have both cars... Most of the running gear is different though so it will take someone a day or two...
May be a little wiring to sort out too..

I think the tank's are different if I remember correctly.

Yes they will be.... there will be a lot of swapping but all doable..
