Hi All, the front windows of my 300ce have just packed up:wallbash:

They were fine on my journey out today, but seem to have stopped after i started up the car for the return journey.

The fuse is fine (also checked it) as the rear windows work as does the sunroof etc.

Is there a separate fuse anywhere else or is it something more major?!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Justin.

Normally would point to the convenience relay then or possibly a door switch wiring fault -- the relay is located to the rear of the main fuse array in the fusebox under the bonnet. HOWEVER I am puzzled by the rear windows still working- points to the fuses there are 2 each of 25 amp located at the lower rhs of the fuse array looking from the front G and H. The one for the front windows may have gone. Once you locate them swap them over to test if you havn't any spares

Cheers Graeme, just checked those fuses and G had blown right across the middle - can't believe i missed it!

It seems it must have blown on starting the engine - i've recently connected the alarm back up and up wondering whether the battery just isn't strong enough.

Many thanks for all your help on this!

Cheers, Justin
