It's worn and it looks a bit tatty. Stealer quoted me for a replacement in stock! From memory £160ish for the mushroom cloth upper seat covering.
Q: How easy to fit it? Is it something I can figure out myself or is it complicated? Does the seat have to come out?
Cheers
Les

Depends on if you have electric seats or not. Tricky at the best of times or so I have been advised. Someone on the Forum will have a simple answer. :)

Hi Dittrich, i was recently contemplating the same thing for my car. I have a facelift W124 with the rare charcoal interior (At least i think it's quite rare cause it's taken an age to source a replacement).

I was at my local merc specialist breakers in Birmingham and was chatting to a fellow DIYer / enthusiast and he gave me the number for a specialist upholstery place. Might not be of any use to you but might be a lot cheaper to have them just replace the worn section rather than buy a whole new replacement?

I can't personally vouch for them as i didn't end up using them as i found a replacement seat on my next visit to the breakers (lucky me - £45). The guy who gave me the number said he'd used them and that they were good.

Hope this might be of some use for you?

Luke.

Try D-class interiors in woking, they used to do a lot of mercedes for MB of woking and usually have most MB leathers and cloths in stock,
