W124 OM606. Taking inlet manifold off prep. what to anti-seize

The fuel is fed under high pressure via the metal pipes. As spock says the rubber pipes are the low pressure return back to the tank and are what is leaking.
The sixth injector has a blanking plug on one leak off nozzle.

You need 2 metres of pipe and a blanking plug. Best stuff is from either MB dealer of diesel specialist.
Just going out to replace some in a minute.

i got a metre of the stuff when i got the fuel lines. is a metre going to be enough to replace it all?

the blank off doesnt look good as it is just what looks like a nail stuck in the pipe.

other injectors seem fine.

how does it affect performance out of interest?

Measure the ones that are on the car now to give you an idea - mine had a very lumpy tick over with a small leak, but if you forget to connect the main one back to the filter (as I did) then its unlikely to start at all.

No, you need just over a metre for an OM606. Typically, this means you need to buy 2m.

doh! local MB closed at 2pm. Any where else that is likely to sell that stuff? looks like standard diesel stuff

It is but quality matters. Any local car spares shop will probably have some.
