Hello.... i had quite a bad leak on my 190e radiator when i had one.... i use to carry a tube of superglue with me.... worked for a while and then at traffic lights on day it blew and a 3 meter spurt of water shot across the pedestian crossing......

Had similar once - my Allegro o ) ****** against a pub wall, was dark and I didn't notice till I walked across the front of the car and thought "what's that hissing noise" - had a horizontal stripe on my jeans just above knee height.
