W169 Luxury Climate Control

Hi all,

I am thinking of putting the luxury climate control into my W169 (2009).

Do I just require the control unit? Or are there other parts that are required?

-The display is usually plug & play- certainly is on W/Cl 203.
If you require all the features of lux climate, then there are loads of parts required & is likely to cost £1-2k if new OEM parts....

All the features? What does that include? Just the extra vents in the rear?

Vents in the rear, and it has independant zone control which wont wont by just changing the display.

-Extra ducting, vents & stepper motors.
-There is also the 'rest' function on lux climate. This uses residual engine heat to blow warm air into the cabin for 20mins, even when engine is switched off. The lux climate also fully conditions the air- I believe it alters the air humidity in addition to temp?
I think there is also a sun sensor on bonnet grill which gives feedback to the system.
