Hi all,
I hope everyone is well.
Does anyone know on the wiring loom to the rear lamp, which wires are for the reverse lights?
Also, what is everyone’s opinion on the rear view camera that is fixed to the tailgate number plate light? Should I get it? I have had great support from npuk! (who has fitted one) I am just thinking do I really need it and is it worth modifying the car from factory set up?
The A-class has the parktronic sensors.
I thought it maybe worth it because npuk showed it can be done and also I currently have my rear tailgate boot trim off and I am in the process of fitting Comand NTG 2.5.
Finally, if I do go ahead with the install, is it possible to connect the camera to the rear wiper? I have noticed on a couple of occasions that the rear wiper comes on when I select reverse gear? Is there a sensor to tell if its raining at the back or does it take its input from the front rain sensor?
