W169 Wiper only works with Left Indicator ON ... ???

Hiya people ... just yesterday i realised my wipers do not work. I was playing around with it and realised it only works when the left indicator is on ... soo weird!

How do i resolve this problem?

Sounds like you have a fault within your wiper stalk quite common. The wires in the stalk are very small and break.

Soo ... can that be repaired or do i need to replace the wiper stalk?

It could be repaired but would be a very diddly repair, due to size of wires.
Easier to replace, off top if head around £90-100 pound for the new part from the dealer.
Comes with 2 year warrenty.
Labour charge is no more than an hour. Any independent can do it, have to be carefull not to trigger SRS light. If independent change it they will be able to erase any faults afterwards.

I had the same problem a few years ago in my C. Replaced the stalk, problem solved.
