Nobody can PM you untill you've got 30 posts. You'll be very lucky to ever find the blind you want, quite rare now.

Hi,
Mercedes did window blinds for your car, Pt No,'s below.
Mechanical Sun Blind Rear, black, B6 669 1199 £79.37
Rear Side Blind, right, black, B6 669 1200 £62.90
Rear Side Blind, left, black, B6 669 1201 £62.90
Third Window Blind, left, black, B6 669 1211 £48.84
Third Window Blind, right, black, B6 669 1212 £48.84
The above numbers were taken from an old accessory catalogue so not sure how accurate the prices are now, but are for a W202 Estate, Ibelieve some blinds are not available anymore but your dealer should be able to tell from the above numbers.
If anyone wants the numbers for Saloon let me know.

thanks for the usefull u've shared. Anyway do you by any chance know where i can get'em, it's ok if it's used since i know the price would be high if it's new and perhaps they dont sell those anymore. And where can i get the image of those sun blind, so i'll get a better perspective of how it looks like.

Thanks for the info guys, very much helpfull

Hi,
Part numbers for Sun blinds for a W202 Saloon, though some of these pt. no.s i believe are unavailable in the UK, maybe a different case in the US though.
Mechanical Sunblind, Rear, Black B6 669 1183
Installation Kit for B6 669 1183, B6 669 1179
Rear Side Blind, Right, black, B6 669 1184
Rear Side Blind, Left, black, B6 669 1185
Electric Sunblind, Rear (with Remote Control), B6 669 1196
Replacement Remote Control, B6 669 1197
Installation Kit for B6 669 1196, B6 669 1198

Fitting an Electric rear blind is quite a nice mod but they are prohibitively expensive in the UK at £1000 for the blind itself, but again in the states this maybe different.
Fitting it will require another parcel shelf, though it has been said you can modify the existing shelf, the installation of a wiring loom together with switch in the centre console, the loom is just run in and very straight forward to fit and connect.
Not sure of the remote control option listed above.
Did this mod about a 8-10 months ago on my C43.

andy,

how did u get a button on your center console? i thought on the c43 there werent any free places for one. do you mind posting a pic of your install? i hope you still have the car!!!

Hi,
I bought a new console panel, with the switch hole already cut out though you can cut them out yourself though they are quite difficult to do neatly,

How much was that new switch panel Andy ?

Around £80 if IIRC, unless ive mixed up some prices.

Hi,
Yes as momomo has said it was around £80 but that was about 18 months ago now, the wooden effect ones are far more expensive, approx. twice the price IIRC.

You woud not happen to have the part number would you ?

im sorry for posting on an old thread but i've run across a bit of a problem.

im trying to fit the electric sunblind in my c43 saloon and from reading up i need the electric sunblind, wiring harness, and the centre plate. but i came across two part numbers for the electric sunblind.

part number B66691196 comes up as $300 and A2028100020 comes up as $1,800. are these the same? does B66691196 come with the harness as well?

Hi
According to the info i have is that the blind you need is the A202 number.
The B number is possibly a retro fit which if this is the case would,nt of been available since 2000ish.
You are better off getting a second hand blind as paying the full RRP is just not worth it IMO.
I bought a second hand blind, and new loom, switch, parcel shelf and switch panel when i did my 43, when i did my C230K i managed to source everything second hand apart from the switch panel which i cut a new hole for the switch.

I have an electric blind available for sale. PM if interested.

Hi Andy,
Ive got two now. So one will be fitted, i have all the important bits. Just need some time! I have PM'd you my email by the way so you can mail me about what we discussed the other day. Also let me know how you get on, on Friday.
