W203 5 Speed Auto Box - Whirring and Jolt on Switch off

Hi,

Only had my W203 220 CDI since Saturday and am loving it apart from a couple of things:

Its a 55 plate coupe with 37k on the clock by the way.

1. There is a whirring noise coming from the front when rollling - in gear but no throttle. Sounds a bit like something spinning - quite hard to explain so sorry for that. It's most noticeable just before coming to a stop.

2. There is quite a noticeable jolt/bump when the enging is sitched off.

Are these normal - should I get them checked out? The car has had 3 MB services, the last was done about 300 miles ago.

A whirring could be almost anything really? Wheel bearing, power steering/alternator pulley belt?
