I have a W203 with AMG Sport pack incl bodykit, wheels and suspension etc that i am collecting in a week or so. The wheels are the new AMG Style III but they are 17", i am going to sell these wheels (which are immaculate with new tyres) and buy some different AMG 18" or 19" staggered fitment but cant decide which to get. Any suggestions or advice regarding 18"/19" fitment?? Cheers....

I'd advise against it as the ride will already be hard enough with the 17's!!

I had an Audi earlier this year with 19" all round and track set up on suspension so it cant be as harsh as that!! Anyway, i would rather have no teeth and a car that looks better and handles well so it wont bother me at all :D

I personally wouldn't go above 18". MB never offered the 203 with anything greater than 18".

I know it's an optical illusion but when fitting bigger diameter wheels the car always looks like it needs to be lowered. I don't think you will have any room for lowering further than the MB set-up on the Sports/AMG Pack.

Any potential gain in handling with the lower section tyres will never be realised on the road and you will be in constant threat of buckling a wheel on our crap roads.

How much will you be selling the 17 wheels / tyres for.

Not sure yet as need to check condition first, they supposedly have new tyres so if wheels are A1 then probably around £700 or so but if not in A1 condition then slightly less......
