Noticed the car has a Auxilary port function, so I went to Benz and got the lead to plug in the back of the comand. I was going to diy it, but after looking at on-line guides decided to take it to car electronics in Derby.
Jez at car electronics took the car apart and found that the lead I supplied doesn't fit into the back of the comand unit. He thinks I'll have to splice a connection in to the wiring harness.
Back at Benz Pete in parts says the lead I've got is the only one for my car.
there must be a way of doing it as why else would the software be in the comand in the first place?

2002 C32, has the BOSE sound upgrade package.
Any thoughts as how I can wire the aux port in?
