W203 Comand + Telephone

Hi all,

Just brought my first MB, defected from the other side and really pleased so far.

Is there an easy way to install a phone and connect it to the comand unit? When the phone button is pleased, I get all the menus but an error message, is this because there may have once been a phone in the car and now removed or are the phone menus always available?

Also and with that aside, what are my phone options bearing in mind I would prefer a Comand connection?

You can connect up a phone to your COMAND. The phone menu will apeear whether there was aphone once or not. It should just say !No Phone or Tel error. Unfortunately there is no 'easy' way to connect a phone and it will involve taking your comand out to wire it all in!

Takes about 5 hours to fit from scratch.
